Peter the Pig Man - 19th September 2006

We had a call to arrange a private Crush a car from a guy called Chris. It was for his father who had a passion for pigs, the relevance to this i couldn’t under stand at the time, although it was early They had kept it a secret from him and even on arrival he wasn’t sure what he was doing, for a moment he suspected water sking..Peter was a 60 years young agile fit chap who proudly showed me a photo of his Humber pig, and then the penny dropped, not the pink smelly kind of pig the chunky 4x4 type.

My kind of chap, the family came as well, even the dog which i considered stealing if the opportunity arose.

We all drove down to the courses for a bit of 432 driving i used the Volvo anti tank jeep as the weather was sunny and His daughter Jane sat on the spare wheel at the front rather like the spirit of ecstasy on a rolls Royce grill ,blond hair blowing in the wind .It turned out father and daughter were world class clay shots ,Jane with a flintlock musket ,would you ! Believe .After peter had finished his drive .I offered Jane a go as well in the 432 .

Hoping to blag a bit of musket tuition at a later date. we all ended up in the armoury with SAS Colin telling a few scary stories of happy times in far away lands .Jane spotted my musket and was impressed by its size Then it was time for Peters real birthday surprise just when he thought it was all over we told him about his car crush . I was keen too as it was an Audi and wow do i hate Audi’s ,seriously had me arse bitten by one once .

As you can see an excellent job was done by the birthday boy .56 ton of chieftain main battle tank is just what every Audi more than 5 years old needs .Chris was so impressed he forgot how peter chased him in the 432 trying to run him over.
